Fixes

  • Modified the default setting for intel_auto_dblfwd to false in graidserver, ensuring consistent performance on Intel-based systems.
  • Fixed an issue where the intel_auto_dblfwd setting in graidserver.conf was not applied correctly. The old version defaulted to true, ignoring the config and reducing performance. The new version defaults to false and applies the config correctly.
  • Fixed an issue in graidctl where the SMART log output for the describe pd --format json command was incorrectly formatted, ensuring accurate JSON output for drive monitoring.

Known Issues and Limitations

  • SAS/SATA/NVMe-oF drive is not supported.
  • The GPU running the SupremeRAID driver must be set to TCC mode.
  • Metadata backup and restoration is not supported on the physical drives that were created in the previous version.
  • On some newer Intel platforms (4th Gen, 5th Gen Xeon), the 'DMA Control Opt-In Flag' or an equivalent option must be disabled in the BIOS to ensure that P2P DMA works properly.
