Looking to create a RAID array using two M.2 NVMe* drives in order to store the operating system; however, these disks are not shown in the BIOS of the Intel® Server Board.
RAID arrays using M.2 NVMe* drives are not supported on Intel® Server Board S2600WF/S2600ST and Intel® Server System M20MYP Family.
NVMe* RAID using Intel® VROC requires Intel® Volume Management Device (Intel® VMD) support. The PCIe bus lanes routed to the on-board M.2 connectors on these Intel® Server Boards are routed from the Intel chipset, which does not support Intel® VMD.
