Important Notes

The Linux driver 2.0.0 update 217 requires a V2 license key. Please contact your Graid sales representative to obtain one.

Driver Upgrading Procedure

Prerequisite

Please make sure you have a V2 license available before upgrading. If your current driver version is earlier than 1.7.2 Update 79 (for example, 1.7.0), you must install the 1.7.2 Update 80 driver before upgrading to driver 2.0.0 update 217. For detailed instructions, please refer to the User Guide

Enhancements

Optimized Compatibility for LVM Thin Provisioning and KVM: For LVM Thin Provisioning and KVM users, a specific kernel parameter can now be used to force a data buffer copy, ensuring fully accurate consistency check results. To access the parameter, please use the following command：
```
cat /sys/module/graid/parameters/force_copy_buffer
```

Fixes

Resolved an issue related to handling non-contiguous offline CPU cores.

Known Issues and Limitations

Applications that access the RAID volume through GDS can operate in GDS compatible mode.
Dual controller capability is not supported in this release.
