Three Approaches to NVMe* RAID

Graid Technology supports more than one approach to NVMe* RAID, each suited to different requirements:

• VROC™ by Graid Technology — a software-defined Virtual RAID on CPU solution. RAID runs in software on the host CPU, with no dedicated RAID HBA. It is positioned as a go-forward path for software RAID on NVMe* storage.
• Intel® VROC — Intel's software RAID, enabled by Intel® Volume Management Device (Intel® VMD), an integrated controller in the CPU PCIe root complex. Intel® VROC is now supported by Graid Technology; the full library is available in the Intel® VROC documentation.
• SupremeRAID™ — Graid Technology's accelerated RAID product line, which offloads RAID processing to a dedicated card for maximum NVMe* performance. See the SupremeRAID™ documentation.

• Choose VROC™ by Graid Technology for software-defined NVMe* RAID without a dedicated RAID card, with a supported, go-forward software RAID path.
