What Is VROC™ by Graid Technology?

VROC™ by Graid Technology is an enterprise RAID solution that protects NVMe* SSDs attached directly to the host CPU. Because RAID is implemented in software rather than on a dedicated controller card, it removes much of the cost, complexity, and power overhead of traditional hardware RAID — while keeping data resilient.

The product is built around three principles:

• Software-defined RAID — RAID is delivered as software, with no dedicated RAID HBA between the drives and the CPU.
• NVMe-optimized — designed to take advantage of the performance of modern NVMe* SSDs.
• Enterprise-ready — focused on the resiliency and operational simplicity required by data center, AI, and HPC deployments.
