Description

Unable to find whether Intel® VROC is supported in RHEL* or if an extra driver is needed.

Resolution

The Intel® VROC driver for Linux* release strategy is upstream to open-source community and has Operating System Vendor (OSV) partners incorporate necessary upstream patches into their Linux product releases to have the inbox support of Intel VROC.

The latest RHEL* distributions includes inbox support for Intel® VROC, so no additional driver installation is required. Older RHEL distributions may need an out-of-box driver to support Intel VROC.
