What Are the Installation Requirements for the Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) Graphical User Interface (GUI) Application?
Description
When trying to install Intel® VROC 8.0 on a Windows Server* 2019 Standard, an error message stops the process, but when installing Intel® VROC 7.8 the process ends without problem.
Resolution
With the release of Intel® VROC 8.0, the Graphical User Interface (GUI) application was also updated.
If you are installing Intel® VROC 8.0 or higher, you will see the new GUI application, but if you are installing an older release (Intel® VROC 7.x or lower), you will continue seeing the legacy GUI application.

Each application has different installation requirements. Depending on which one you are installing, make sure you meet the requirements below:
| Requirements for Legacy Intel® VROC GUI (Intel® VROC 7.x or lower) | Requirements for New Intel® VROC GUI (Intel® VROC 8.0 or higher) |
