Resolve Windows* Server 2019 Installation Issue on Intel® VROC With 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors

Description

Windows Server 2019 installation on an Intel® VROC NVMe RAID volume on Intel® Server Systems with Intel® Xeon® Gold 6346 CPU fails, resulting in RAID volume corruption.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the Intel® VROC driver 7.6.0.1023:

1. Download the Intel® VROC 7.6 or later driver release from Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) Windows* Driver for Intel® Server Boards and Systems Based on Intel® 621A Chipset.
2. Unzip the package and find the F6-driver under F6-drivers -> VROC_ver_F6-drivers -> NVMe_iaVROC.free.win8.64bit.ver.
3. Load the F6-driver during the Windows* installation. See more information in Unable to See the RAID Volume during Windows* Installation.
