Description

Cannot get into the Intel® RSTe option ROM BIOS due to the Ctrl-I prompt message not been seen at boot up. This only happens when BIOS Boot Mode is configured as UEFI.

Follow these steps to configure the BIOS to enable the option ROM:

  1. Enter into the serverboard BIOS by pressing the key F2 while the system boots.
  2. Select the option Boot Maintenance Manager.
  3. Enter into the menu Advanced Boot Options.
  4. Change the setting Boot Mode from UEFI to Legacy.
  5. Exit the BIOS saving the changes by pressing the key F10, and then selecting the option Y.
